DAY CRUISING
Oman Charter offers professional day cruising boat charters aboard our 31' boat, Al Eqab, from Bandar Al Rowda Marina every day, 365 days a year. All boats are skippered by English speaking local Omani guides from the nearby fishing village of Haramel and offer a variety of options tailored to your taste.
Our brand new fleet of cruising boats are fully equipped with the latest equipment to provide all our guests with the maximum comfort and safety in all sea conditions.
Each tour includes a running commentary of the land of Sinbad's historical coastline abundant marine life, local customs and traditions. Excursions are tailored for individual parties and take account of other factors such as wind and weather, time of day dolphin sightings etc.
The following are all included :--
Refreshments - Water and soft drinks.
Equipment - Snorkelling gear of masks, snorkels and fins but feel free to bring your own.
You should bring your own swimming kit, sunhat, sunscreen towels and camera. Most important of all bring yourself, your curiosity and a smile!
Typical activities are:--
Island hopping - 4 hours (Dep 8am, 1pm)
Our island hopping cruise takes you on a historical journey past Muscat Palace, coastal forts, fishing villages, colonial landmarks and Mutrah Corniche. On then to Fahal Island where we break for refreshments before a fast passage to Bandar Jissa island and a leisurely and relaxing scenic cruise through the extraordinary Bandar Kharan inlet where sometimes sea eagles herons can be spotted .

Dolphin watching 2 hours (Dep 8am, 1pm, 3pm)
The Gulf of Oman boasts 22 species of dolphin and whales which are sometimes seen in pods of 200 or more. Our local knowledge and contacts among local fishermen keep us informed of the most recent sightings and help us to find them for you.

Sunset cruises 2 hours, Dep 5pm
Witness panoramic sea views of Oman's spectacular coast. Watch the light change through the full spectrum of warm colours as the sun sets behind the dramatically rugged mountains.
No visit to Oman is complete without experiencing a romantic Arabian sunset from the sea. Then capturing it on film to impress your friends and family and remind you of happy days.

Fishing 4 hours (Dep 8pm, 1pm)
Come aboard for a half days fishing trip. Choose from rod and reel, trolling or the more traditional method of local hand line. The resident skipper is a professional local Omani fisherman whose expertise and knowledge adds to a truly memorable experience.
